Hump day that is.
I am really beginning to like Wednesdays. I stayed inside all day due to the fact that the outside of the house is being painted and I had major homework and baking to get done. It was the perfect day to bake so I made cupcakes for tomorrow. I will post those yummies on my valentine post. They turned out so cute!
I will be packaging them in these adorable boxes from here .
When the mail came my day got a even better.
I love getting the mail. Oh we get our share of bills, but there is just something about getting mail that makes me happy. I know it's weird, but true. Today was no exception as I got not one but TWO packages for ME! The first one had an amazing book, the newest in the Designing With Series from Autumn Leaves.
I can't wait to delve inside this gem. I even
promised myself that I would scraplift a page from it. Jeez, I have all these great idea books and I don't utilize them because I always want to do my own thing. Doing a page from scratch is completely rewarding but it also takes time. I think that if I just scraplift a layout it may inspire me to start doing pages again and I can get a page completed very quickly. I'll let ya' know
how that goes.
My second package contained some goodies that I ordered
online at 2Peas. I have really tried to use the product I already have lately. Lord knows I have enough. I hesitate buying new stuff that will be "old" within the year. I have done well. Um, yeah, having no extra spending money really helps with that bad habit. Hmmm...
Anyway, I have found that I do much better on my budget if I am not bombarded with
product at every turn. I just want it all. I go in for one thing and walk out with, of course, pattern paper, stamps, ribbon. Basically all the stuff I don't need. I have found that buying makeup online is the key to staying in your budget as well. Admit it once you see the cool names and cute packaging of say, Benefit, you're sunk. I know I am. I have been avoiding those temptations by replenishing my supply using the Internet. It's a good thing.
And finally, I got this in my email mailbox.
I am so doing this! I called and put myself on the list right away. I can't wait to see all the cool
ideas they pass on. I always love taking classes and increasing my knowledge about stuff I love to do, and this is one of them. I love to find great stuff for the house and Pottery Barn is one of my very favorite places.
I finished off my day with a long walk iPod in pocket, crisp fresh air. Does it get any better for a Wednesday?

sounds like a great day to me. I love all your ideas...and I would love to see you create some pages so I could scraplift them!! :) please....
I love those boxes. I do a TON of online shopping. I hate the malls. As for Benefit, never purchased their stuff before. Hope you have a great weekend!
I am so in the mood to start doing pages again. I just need to find the time.
